Health troubles ahead for Huey, Dewey and Louie?

Am I crazy for feeling sorry for ducks when I see people feeding them bread made from bleached white flour and Cheerios? I get knots in my stomach, no different than when I see kids eating "ice cream" (read: chemicals) from an "ice cream" truck.
